What you can expect at O2 SURFTOWN MUC
O2 SURFTOWN MUC is Europe's largest Wavegarden Cove, sitting in Hallbergmoos just north of Munich and minutes from the airport. The lagoon serves up everything from gentle whitewater for first-timers to fast, powerful walls and hollow barrels for the Expert and Pro sessions — bookable as both A-Frame peaks and long, wrapping Pointbreak sets.
The park runs from early morning until late at night, with floodlit evening sessions that turn the pool into one of Europe's most photogenic surf spots. On-site you get a modern surf centre, shop, restaurant, bar and a terrace with front-row seats over the wave.
This is a one-departure group trip hosted by Ben Gravy. Expect coached and free-surf sessions in the Cove, an evening under the lights, a run into Munich for beer gardens and food, and an optional dawn mission to the Eisbach river-wave for anyone game to give it a go.
